Holding Tank, Small
These tanks allow you to keep your plates submerged in water for as long as you need.
As long as a wet plate remans wet, you can still work with it. However, once it dries out, it's game over. These tanks allow you to keep your plates submerged in water for as long as you need. This is particularly handy if you're shooting on location and need to take plates back to the lab to complete fixing and washing.
The boxes have gasketed lids which do a pretty good job of preventing water from sloshing out while on the return trip home, but it won't stop all the drips - so keep that in mind before you decide to stack them up on the back seat of the car! Put them in a spot where a little water won't hurt anything or better yet, stack them in a large darkroom tray. But you know that already - you're a collodion photographer!
Each holding tank comes with a welded stainless steel wire rack insert that holds 14 plates, with a spacing of about 1/2 inch.
The overall dimensions of the box are 5 inches wide, 12 inches long, and 7 inches tall.
