Plate Adaptor Pro
Now you can shoot multiple formats in a single film holder when using this plate adaptor.
A plate adapter allows you to shoot plates that are smaller than the plate holder's original dimensions. This is particularly useful if you're trying to conserve materials when shooting test plates for exposure calibration.
Our newly designed plate adapter boasts a single piece, 0.050 inch thick solid aluminum construction, black anodized, with recessed corners that hold the smaller plate centered within the larger format. Our stock sizes are 8x10 to 5x7 and 8x10 to 4x5.
If you have a custom sized plate smaller than 6.5 x 9.5 that you'd like to adapt, email us with the exact dimensions of the plate in question. Custom openings may require additional time to complete.
