Our Professional aluminum sheet is 0.025 inches thick, with gloss black finish giving this material a clean, finished, professional look. The front side is covered with a protective plastic sheet that peels smoothly and leaves no residue, avoiding the frustrations of potential image artifacts, giving you hassle free and reliably consistent performance.
Finished plate dimensions are undersized by 0.020 inches in both width and length to provide a little wiggle room and allow an easy fit within the plate holder. Please keep this in mind when ordering custom plate dimensions. Each package contains 25 sheets.

Note: Coated aluminum sheet is an industrial product not originally intended for use in photography. As such, one may occasionally encounter image artifacts associated with the protective plastic coating. The diligent and attentive photographer can avoid these artifacts by taking the preventive measure of cleaning the suspected plates with ethanol and a non abrasive microfiber cloth prior to the application of collodion.
